Description Of Accounts Officer Job

  • Maintain record of expenses and income in regular basis
  • Preparing daily accounts and tax returns
  • Make sure accounting system is up to date and all tax, vat is duly paid without any charges
  • Prepare bank reconciliation statements and be updated with bank balances
  • Compiling and presenting reports, budgets, financial plans, and financial statements
  • Providing tax planning services with reference to current legislation
  • Perform financial forecasting and risk analysis
  • Ensure all pending payments are regularly in the loop of follow-up
  • Work in Liasioning with support and services and sales department to collect the outstanding sales amount
  • Visit banks, financial institutions and government organizations as and when needed
  • Coordinate with sales and account department to ensure client satisfaction. And implement customer retention strategy set by support and services department
  • Prepare payment collection report on daily, weekly, monthly, semiannually and annual basis
  • Comply with government rules of tax and vat and keep the accounting system up to date
  • Document entire accounting procedure as per government standard
  • Plan for funds and cost saving strategies
  • Maintain relations with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations
