Detailed Job Description / Requirements For Junior Vendor Manager Job In Kathmandu

Job Description:

  • Maintaining attractive content for a large and diverse portfolio of products
  • Managing price competitiveness, assortment and stock availability
  • Communicating with marketing team on promotions and campaigns
  • Liaising with suppliers concerning details of new and existing products, ensuring consistency of the categories (pricing, products, banners, brands)
  • Collaborating with the production team on uploading new products on the website
  • Supporting the FMCG team in any related assignments
  • Working with cross-functional teams to resolve any issues impacting brand performance on Daraz (operations, fulfillment services, marketing, finance etc.)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor degree in business or engineering disciplines from top university with minimum 1 year of experience in the related field
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal with proven ability to represent your organization in external meetings with senior stakeholders
  • Negotiation track-record and demonstrated ability to influence others
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize them and meet deadlines
  • Action and solution-oriented mindset, comfortable in fast-moving entrepreneurial environment
  • Strong ownership and attention to details
  • Team spirit and enthusiasm about learning
  • Knowledge of FMCG products in Nepal
