12 April 2018: KTM launched the 2017 model of KTM 200 Duke 2018 Motor Bike which is more of a cosmetic update with unchanged mechanics. KTM 200 Duke 2018 Motor Bike is highly inspired by its elder sibling Duke 390 in terms of the design. However, KTM 200 Duke 2018 Motor Bike misses out on the new 2017 Duke design language that the 390 Duke and 250 Duke get. The 2017 variant of Duke 200 comes with new graphics, orange alloy wheels, a new livery, and 2 new Black & White paint schemes to stand out from its previous version. However, the existing orange color paint scheme will still be on offer. The 2017 variant continues with its highly informative all-digital instrument console that includes a clock, Tripmeter, Odometer, and Distance to Empty Indicator. Other notable features include an underbelly exhaust, LED Tail Light, and 43mm front forks. Duke 200 is powered by a 199.5cc, Single-Cylinder, 4 Stroke, DOHC, Liquid Cooled and BS-IV compliant engine that churns out a maximum power of 25.1 PS @ 10,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 19.2 Nm @ 8000 rpm. The highly powerful engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. It can reach a top speed of 135 kmph and has a company claimed mileage of 35 Kmpl. The fuel tank has a total capacity of 10.2 liters. It is equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels and tubeless tires. The 300mm front disc brake and the 230mm rear disc brake efficiently bring the motorcycle to a dead still even at higher speeds. It has a WP Upside-Down suspension at the front and WP monoshock suspension at the rear. 2017 Duke 200 is offered in only one standard variant which is priced at Rs. 1,67,797 (On road, Delhi). Duke 200 competes against the likes of TVS RTR 200 and the Bajaj 200 NS.
